Novena of Prayer
In Honor of St. Gertrude
O Jesus, we praise You, bless You,
and give You thanks for all the graces
You
bestowed on our holy patroness St. Gertrude.
We thank You most especially for the Love
With which You enriched her life and united
her
To Yourself.
We recall the promise You made to St. Gertrude,
That You would hear the prayers of all
who came to You Through her
intercession
and we pray in her words…
O god of love and gentleness.
O heart that abounds
With loving kindness.
O
heart that overflows with charity,
O heart that radiates pleasantness.
O hear full of Compassion.
We thank You for Your
heart full of love for us.
Invite us into Your heart that we may be
Totally transformed into love.
Amen.
